Sticker, blanket or pyramid? We bought the seven things people buy for EMF at home, lived with each one for two weeks in the same apartment, and checked the Wi-Fi and a meter at the pillow every time. Six try to stop the signal. Only one doesn't.

The seven, in the apartment where we tested them.
One apartment, one bedroom, 17 Wi-Fi networks in range from the bed. Ours, the neighbours', two cafés and a printer.
We bought one of each type, at the prices anyone pays. Between July and October 2026 we lived with each one for two weeks, one after the other, so no two were ever in the room together. With each in place we checked two things at the bed: the Wi-Fi speed, and the reading of a consumer RF meter at the pillow.
We don't name brands. Within a type, they're built the same way.
Then we scored each one on seven criteria, one tick each. You can check every one of them on the listing or on the object.
Ties go to the one that changes the meter reading, then to the one that covers more space.

The only one of the seven that didn't try to block anything.
Six of these products put something between you and a signal: a mesh, a fabric, a foil, a stone, a filter. The pyramid doesn't. It's an orgonite: Reich's 1940s layering of organic material and metal, poured in resin by hand over a quartz sphere and a copper spiral. It works on the field around it instead of stopping it.
On our meter, nothing changed at the pillow. We say so on the product page too: it isn't a shield.
What changed is what we had to do. Nothing. It sat on the nightstand for two weeks, needed no outlet, and the Wi-Fi at the bed stayed at full speed.

What we'd improve

2.4 in (60 mm) base · about 2.2 in (55 mm) tall · about 4.2 oz (120 g) · copper spiral, smoky quartz sphere, resin with copper and gold flakes, a bed of Brazilian amethyst · no power
Our verdict: the best thing to put in a room you live in, if you don't want to change how you live in it. If what you want is a lower number on a meter, it's not that, and #4 is.
$25-50

Why it's #2: honest about what it does, and it does it. To one box, at the cost of your own Wi-Fi.

What we don't
Why it's #3: it asks nothing of you, but it sits on one device at a time, and our apartment had thirty-one.
$370-530

What we don't
Why it's #4: if a number on a meter is your goal, this is the one that delivers it, and we'd buy it for that. It's also a tent you climb into every night.
$20-50

What we like
What we don't
Why it's #5: it works on one phone, while you're not using it.
$10-30

What we like
What we don't
Why it's #6: a square inch of foil on one phone, in a room with seventeen networks. It costs little because it covers little.
$40-150

What we like
What we don't
Why it's #7: it may do something for your wiring. It did nothing we could see about the 17 networks.

Shungite is sold to absorb and the plug-in box to filter; the others block. Prices: ranges seen on retail listings, October 2026.
Every blocker on this list works the same way. It puts something between you and one source, on one side.
That works when the signal comes from one place. In our test bedroom it came from 17 networks, the cell towers and every device in the apartment, through the floor, the ceiling and every wall.
So each blocker covered a slice: one router, one phone, one bed, while it was closed.
The pyramid takes the other route. Its copper spiral draws the field in from every side, the resin-and-metal matrix reorganises it, and the quartz core, held under pressure by the hardened resin, keeps its charge (the piezoelectric effect a quartz watch runs on). No wall, no slice.
If you want a lower number on a meter, buy #4. If you want something for every room that asks nothing of you, that's #1.

Because it scored highest on the seven criteria above, which you can check yourself. We make it, and we told you where it loses: it won't lower a meter reading, and the canopy will.
Yes: one of each type, bought at retail, each in the same one-bedroom apartment for two weeks, one after the other, between July and October 2026, with the Wi-Fi speed and a consumer RF meter checked at the pillow each time. We don't name brands: within a type they're built the same way.
The shielding canopy, inside it, when it's closed all the way round. The router cage and the phone pouch lower it near the router or the phone.
A front photo can't tell you what's in an orgonite. Turn ours over: the base shows what was poured, the amethyst stones and the copper flakes between them. It's 2.4 in (60 mm) at the base, about 4.2 oz (120 g), and you have 60 days to send it back.
No. It doesn't block, absorb or weaken a signal, and it won't change a meter reading. It works by reorganising the field around it, not by stopping it.
One per room you spend the most hours in. An apartment: three (bedroom, router, desk). A house: five.
No power, no charging, no cleansing. Dust it with a dry cloth. Keep it out of direct sun and hot cars: resin softens with heat.
